I miss you all and am saddened at the thought of not seeing you all again this year. This is truly something that is making history, and you all are living through it. It will be something to pass down and tell future generations about. Stay home and stay safe. See you next year!
Additional Suggestions:
Reading is a great way to keep up with Vocabulary Development and build background information. There are many books surrounding the civil war and/or westward expansion during the late 1800's. Historical fiction or nonfiction are great and readily available. I will work on a list of recommended reading and post them here. Board games and card games build comprehension and communication skills as well as you can always try your best to make it to Oregon on the Oregon Trail or check out the link on the links page to the geography games and of course the icivics games. Also, if you must watch television, the history channel has some great resources as well as correlating activities to their programs. Also Netflix has a few appropriate movies for teenagers surrounding the Civil War that you can check out and discuss with your families.
Go to UNITS to be taken to additional resources and activities.- See Quarter 4
